This is my 6th year at Mesa Middle School. I have taught 7th and 8th Grade Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and Forensic Science. My favorite part of teaching is being able to connect with students and help them develop their work ethic, and social and academic skills. Additionally, my favorite part of my job is seeing my students enjoy being in class! I enjoy watching Star Wars movies and shows, traveling (I have travelled all over Mexico, will be traveling to South Korea in September, and Japan the following year), and trying different foods (Korean food is my favorite). An interesting fact about me is that I am very spontaneous and most of my traveling has been on impulse (But I've had a blast!)

I've been teaching for 25 years. Science is my passion. My favorite part of my job is impacting students. Hobbies include drinking coffee LOTS of it , dancing and fishing. Interesting fact is I have been to Antarctica on a research grant with the National Science Foundation.
